When your a photographers child

you get burned out of playing model and practicing REALLY fast. In fact a photographer with children rarely have decent shots of their own children…at least once they reach a certain age. The kids quit, you can’t seem to bribe them enough anymore of just play. My youngest was not very excited to see the arrival of new back drops. He knows now what that means for him. He will hide now.

So….I decided Abbey needs to be my next model to train. In fact she’s working into being one of the best ones. No complaints from her as long as the steady supply of cookies are flowing. She gets bored, but she is so much easier to train for her new model and backdrop testing position.

Jack is on the verge of loosing his modeling position and feels threaten by Abbey. He’s getting more rebellious by the minute here.

Basic pose…but, she’s doing good….Just a warm up pose.

Chin to the left….good Abbey.

Goooooood girl !

Chin to the right…Good girl.

(love the whisker detail here !)

And right into the camera Abbey….Goooood girl.

See… painless.

Not that hard to be a good model. Now to just get Jack to stop sticking his tonge out

at me when I point the camera at him.
